Registration is a pain, why do I have to do it to read your personal blog?Well, simply put, I don't want my personal information available for people to read by means of a simple Google search.
I certainly know it is a pain to register with yet *another* site, and I wish there was another way to do what I want, but for now:
1) I want more control than I'd get from a MySpace or LiveJournal blog
2) Your password is safe, I can't see it. If you forget it, the system verifies your email address and resets the password to something new.
3) The next version of my website will allow you to log into my site via any site that supports OpenID (LiveJournal and Typekey, soon Wikipedia and Technorati, and eventually many more).
